Each bowl is individually hand crafted, so each and every one is unique so expect natural variation. The average diameter is 13 cm and depth 5.5 cm.
Once the craftsmen collect the empty coconut shells, they then proceed to clean the outer husk and sand both the outer and inner shell until smooth. The final action is to rub and polish either with virgin coconut oil or food safe mineral oil to nourish the wood of the shell.
The upcycling of coconut shells helps to eliminate the common practice of burning the shells in their millions, adding to the pollution of the atmosphere! Using plants over plastic helps reduce the millions of discarded plastic plates, cups and cutlery that end up in land-fills every year. So not only are you creating more beauty in your meals, you are creating more beauty and peace for the earth.

Hi! Quick question that's entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when browsing from my iphone 4. I'm trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any suggestions, please share. Many thanks! http://www.froleprotrem.com/

You're not gonna want to eat from another bowl, ever! Love these coconut bowls. The size is exactly right for a good portion (poke bowls are a definite favorite from those). Also, the mission is something that gives an extra nice feel to it. Highly recommended. Ordered a full set of those beauties. Love it! <3
